Because Mako Defense courses focus on the individual, our students who have never shot before  learn so quickly that their lack of experience is often not even noticed by other students. All students begin by reviewing basic skills, and as the class moves to more advanced techniques, new shooters have a solid base to work from and more experienced shooters have reaffirmed their technique. Meanwhile, the individual focus of the class allows advanced shooters to advance quickly to new levels of proficiency. Military or law enforcement students are often pulled aside and given individual advice and instruction relevant to their particular duty.
